When you’re trying to schedule a big meeting, it can be tough to find a time that works for everyone’s conflicting calendars. If you often see yourself struggling to put these complicated meetings together, you’d likely benefit from the Outlook extension FindTime.
FindTime is an app that makes it easy to carve out time for everyone in the invite list to meet. The extension lets you choose when you’d ideally like to meet, and shows you the availability of all parties involved. Green icons are used to represent available parties, while red icons represent those who are unavailable. You’ll be able to quickly find a time where all or most of the invites are available.
FindTime doesn’t stop there, though; you can choose multiple days that you think would work best, then send out a poll to all invitees to get their opinion. Invitees, who do not need FindTime to participate in the poll, can vote on the meeting times they’d like best, which ones they’d be fine attending, and which ones they cannot make.
When the results comes back, you should have at least one meeting time that works well for everyone involved. Then, you can schedule it as you would any other meeting in Outlook.
FindTime can be found in Outlook’s Add-In section.
