One of the benefits of video conferencing is device flexibility. You can make and take calls on laptops, desktop computers, smartphones, and tablets. If you Zoom on your iPad, however, there’s a great new feature you can take advantage of.
Zoom version 5.7.6 adds new gesture reactions for iPad users. When engaged in a Zoom call, users can gesture to the camera, which will translate to an in-app reaction. For example, if you raise your hand in person, Zoom will activate the Raise Hand reaction automatically.
Currently, this feature only works for Thumbs Up and Raise Hand, and is only available on iPads; hopefully, Zoom will continue to expand to other reactions as well as other platforms. Until then, you might want to consider taking your Zoom calls on your iPad, if you have one.
